 "2004 Cork Simon Community"

2004 will see the Johnson & Perrott Motor Group again demonstrate one of its core values - supporting the community.An association has been set up with the Cork Simon Community and Mark Whitaker,Group Chief Executive,Johnson & Perrott Motor Group presented a cheque of €5,000 to Gerry Wycherley,representing the Simon Community.The Simon Community is committed to ending homelessness in Cork and making Cork the capital of "caring" as well as culture in 2005.

Simon are currently running a nationwide appeal in order to reach a target of €250,000.The money raised will be for new projects for the most needy people sleeping rough due to lack of appropriate facilities.

"2003 Chernobyl Children's Project"

On the 14th of June 2002 Johnson & Perrott supported by SEAT were delighted to provide a SEAT IBIZA car for the Summer Children's Project.

The vehicle would be used between Shannon and Cork bringing visiting children from Chernobyl and other areas,to their host families for a summer break from the radiation contaminated environments.

Adi Roche, Executive Director Chernobyl Children's Project receives the keys of the SEAT IBIZA car from Mark Whitaker, Group Chief Executive, JPMG.
